Market Research Report (Caribbean) for the Ontario Wood Products Export Association
In collaboration with Halifax Global, Butler-Consultants is providing consulting services to undertake a market research study to determine and to indicate market opportunities in the Caribbean for Ontario and Quebec wood manufacturing companies.
The Ontario Wood Products Export Association (“Ontario Wood”) was incorporated in April 2008 to assist the Ontario wood manufacturing industry to gain export readiness, to gather export market intelligence and to develop export markets for Ontario wood products.
Ontario Wood seeks to develop a systematic approach to gathering export market intelligence that will leverage existing and available macro-level resources in addition to new research to guide the association’s efforts in securing the detailed and specific market intelligence required by its members.
The study will identify opportunities for a range of Canadian/Ontario/Quebec wood products, including, but not limited to, both softwood and hardwood lumber, wood window and door manufacturing, flooring manufacturing, wood kitchen cabinet and countertop manufacturing, wood household furniture manufacturing, wood office furniture manufacturing, wood institutional furniture manufacturing, millwork and architectural woodwork manufacturing, manufactured building components (wall panels, roof and floor trusses, I-joists), manufactured building systems, treated wood products, and miscellaneous wood products.
