Technical Visits – French Pellet Plants
Butler-Consultants gained valuable information by taking part in field excursions of French pellet mills, sawmills, cogenerations and value added facilities. The purpose of the field tours were to gain information on the implementation of bioenergy technologies. Site visits in the north west region of France included the following facilities:

The trip allowed us to view operational facilities and gain insight on the utilization of sustainable biomass for the production of bio-fuels, heat and power.
